A week or so ago, my site, as well as many others, were aggressively targeted by hackers. Well over a thousand attempts were made to crack my password and make me crazy with emails. Wordfence is a wonderful plugin and I highly recommend it. I have since learned my admin user name should never be seen, so I changed it. Thankfully, I believe I remain unhacked but for the life of me, can’t understand why someone wants to hack a quilty, not for profit website.
I purchased some designs from Urban Threads and got fancy on a leg of my new blue jeans.
It’s a little stiff and after washing, I have to iron it flat but it looks great! The next time I embroider denim, I’ll use a design a little less dense.
I had a huge pile of fabric strips in pink so I modified “Scrapitude” to utilize the sizes I had.
It’s taken several weeks, but the blocks are finished and now on the frame for some simple quilting.
My grandfather is having some heart trouble so my sister and cousin arranged a fund raiser to help him with a few expenses.
My sister is one of the talented teachers at Wine By Design in Rochester, Indiana.
I had never taken one of her classes so it was great fun to see what she does!
This is my nephew, Tyler, signing the table.
My canvas with the background done and cheater chalk outlines for my anchor.
My anchor <3 I liked how it turned out. My friend Twila liked it more so I gave it to her!
Family time in my mom’s front yard. It was a beautiful fall day.
My scrapitude quilt on the frame, renamed pink rose garden. It’s a king sized quilt and will live on my bed this winter. Hubs likes it almost as much as I do!
I saw this meme on Facebook the other day. It’s been making me laugh since.
(I know the poor little monkey was probably very sick and I apologize if this offends you but I still can’t stop laughing.)
